if you need a place to set up shop, let it be known, there is a severe lack of services in the areas of plumbing and heating in Ituna and miles and miles around it, in Saskatchewan.

and I thought I'd seen all my problems

wow. now this is a first, for me anyway. I now have water backing up in my sewer and it isn't from me. I came to this town for my nerves, not to lose my last one. What do you do when there is nowhere to turn?

I sincerely doubt that I am alone in all the frustrating problems that are here in Ituna. If I am right, why not add your own problems on this site. I would be glad to find support for the problems that 'we' face, and perhaps educate the town council and its various parts into realizing that they have a job to do, not just to type bills, letters, cheques for wages for themselves, but to actually work for us, the people of this town, to investigate problems and deal with them.

ahhh, living the good life in small town Ituna, Saskatchewan

I'll start by saying that this is 'without prejudice' but not without anger. If you're looking for the perfect little place to settle down, with limited amounts of minor crime, then this might be the place for you. That is, so long as you have a healthy bank account and don't mind not being able to get service for things like plumbing, where the gas man may be hours away from you, and where the town tea party, oops, town council, is just beyond the reach of someone who doesn't want to have to fight for every little thing.
Anyone relate to this? I've been trying to relax with my plumbing here pretty much from my first year here. I can't relax. I can't depend on my plumbing, and plumber, ha, try and get one, either here or even a half hour away in Melville. Everyone wants money, so have lots lying around and if you can make the job big enough you can probably get the help you need, but smaller problems is a joke, a bad one, and right now I am stuck, yes, stuck, in the middle of it.
